Popular and comfortable pub opposite Coleridge's cottage. Seating at the front part of the pub with a large fireplace on the right and raised bar area behind. Pool table in a smaller room to the left. There are quiz nights on the 1st Monday of the month. The two guest beers are mostly local. Modern accommodation block (sympathetic design) behind the pub and outside seating area and car park.
