Opening hours

17th-century thatched inn known locally as "Eli's" after the former owner Eli Scott who took over the family pub in 1920 and the pub is still in the same family. The hub of the pub is the rare counterless flagstoned taproom which leads out to four cosy parlours. Good food lunchtimes and evenings (no food Sunday evenings). Regular music nights feature and there is a meeting of the Elderflower Food Co-operative that meets every Friday between 5 - 7 for the purchase of organic produce. The pub subscribes to "Brit Stop" for travellers.
