A pleasant village local with a basic, brightly lit, but welcoming public bar - complete with real fire. The panelled lounge bar doubles as a dining room for the home-cooked Sunday lunches, which use locally-reared meats (no food at any other times). There is also a well-kept garden with picnic tables.
