Windmill Inn

This pub has been in the same family for around 100 years and its atmosphere does have an air of continuity about it. The "new generation" of the family have been managing it since August 2013, but the feel of the Windmill is still there. There's a bar and two dining rooms leading off it, all being rather cottagey in style. Winter visitors may well be attracted to the large and impressive inglenook fireplace in the bar. The Windmill is situated on a little hill, and because of this, the views from the two beer gardens are a delight. The English Garden looks east to Shropshire, while the Welsh Garden opens up the views towards Wales. Note that seasonal opening times and days may change.
