Bridgewater Arms

This original red-brick sandstone pub has been much enlarged and was relaunched in 2014 as a 'Whitbread Inn', offering meal deals and the like. Internally it has been arranged quite tastefully. The bar and eating areas are quite distinct, with the dining space having various alcoves which make it seem a little more personal. The pub opens early for breakfast, at 6.30-10.30 weekdays and 7.30-11 on Sundays. This is mainly to cater for the guests in the adjoining Premier Inn, Some may be surprised to learn that the Bridgewater was a Good Beer Guide pub (1979-1982).
