Grade II listed building rebuilt in 1844/5, now dwarfed by more modern surroundings. Still retains most of its fittings, carved woodwork, decorative glass divisions and fine painted mirrors. The wooden snob screens were for the upper classes not to be seen by others. Pre-pandemic the venue had two changing ales in addition to the GK offerings, and it is hoped these may return at some point.
