This spacious pub reopened on Friday 1 March 2019 after being closed by Wetherspoon's and (most) Wetherspoon's signage removed five days previously Divided into distinct areas and with extensive outside seating. it was the first such Wetherspoon's conversion in South West London, opening in September 1990. It retains its original Truman exterior tiling thanks to the local history society. For the last two years, cask beers have continued to be available at very reasonable prices and with choices from local breweries, reflecting customers' preferences. LT Management also run a chain of pubs around South Shields. The owner of the freehold here, his first pub, is a private investor.
