Large, modern family pub, set on a hill above the main road, towards Leek, specialising in food; turn left when you approach the Aldi superstore to access the car park. Monday is poker night and there is a quiz every Thursday. Food is served all day up to 10pm (9pm on Sundays), and there is a large car park to the side of the pub. The guest beer will be sourced from the Marston's portfolio. In early 2016, the pub was converted into a two-for-one pizza emporium, in the style of The Cotton Mill in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
