Metropolitan Bar

Originally named the Gate for the turnpike gates blocking the two roads at the junction. It was rebuilt in 1934 and renamed when taken over by the Dorbiere Pub Co in 1999. A good, friendly community pub catering for all ages. It has a spacious wood panelled bar and a separate bar with pool & darts. Jukebox (Free from 5pm-11pm Mondays and Wednesdays ). There is a varied range of guest beers.
