A short walk from the centre of Stafford this two room free house is well worth a visit. The pub dates from 1831 and a newspaper article from the day it opened can be seen above the bar. Today the pub offers an ever changing range of eight ales, it also stocks a range of bottled ciders. The pub has won a number of CAMRA awards including Pub of the Year.
