Slater's Bar

A straightforward micropub, selling real ale, craft lager, ciders, speciality gins and spirits, wine, tea & coffee. A good conversion from a former shop. Friendly staff. There's a pavement drinking area with tables & chairs to enjoy the sun; it's in a pedestrianised area so little traffic. No food but you're welcome to bring your own lunch. Open mic nights every Tuesday, quiz on Thursday nights, live music Saturday nights, Drink & Draw Sunday evenings from 6pm.
