Purchased by Black Country Ales at the beginning of September 2016 and once fully refurbished it re-opened on 8th December 2016. It follows the usual Black Country Ales model of concentrating on offering a wide range of beers from local breweries and across the country complementing their own range. There are three open fires in cold weather and a conservatory where tables can be reserved for meetings. The food on offer is of the fresh cobs, pork pies & scotch eggs variety. Maybe the spirits in bottles aren't the only spirits in the pub.
