Reopened Sep 2017 after a long closure. Acquired freehold by the people who own The Vine Inn & brewery in Rugeley. Three cask beers on tap which are Bass, a beer from The Vine brewery in Rugeley and another which will always be locally brewed. Licensee strongly desires The Buck to be a community pub, binding the community together in Hilderstone & neighbouring areas. The Buck is “just a pub”, no TV or canned music. A complete refurbishment is in progress as of Oct 2017 including a brand-new cellar to a very high standard. Serves dinner & coffee.
