Home cooked meals are prepared with local produce wherever possible. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the Snug and bar area, there are water bowls with fresh tap water by the front door and around the garden. On the bar there is a jar of dog biscuits for our four legged friends. Horses are welcome in the car park; there are treats on the bar for our larger four legged friends, lead ropes are available in the snug making it easier to enjoy a mid hack drink; water buckets are also available so please just ask at the bar. The pub website describes a 3.5 mile circular walk from the pub in case you need to work up a thirst. Walkers, cyclists, fishermen, horses, dogs, in fact everyone, are welcomed.!
