A hidden gem of a pub which is recognised by CAMRA as having a nationally important historic pub interior. The pub comprises of four rooms and a drinking corridor; The bar is accessible from the rear room, decorated and furnished as it was a terraced ‘living room’ also from the drinking corridor and small snug, only holding around eight people, whilst the front right-hand room is larger and more cosy, with a real fire for those colder days. A fine selection of real ales on hand pull are available including the pubs mandatory ‘Bass’, the other pumps are guests including many local and national favourites. Should they not meet your needs then a large bottle selection is offered too. The significant range of real Cider has also assisted the licensee’s Rob and Deb to revitalise the pub, returning it to its former glory of being an excellent community pub, in addition to running trips to local breweries and fundraising for a number of local charities.
