Half Crown

The property known as the Half-Crown, one of three pubs in the South Benfleet conservation area, was built in the late 17th Century, being originally a customs house to control smuggling on the nearby river. It is a successful local pub and offers 4 real ales and food available to 8pm with Sunday Roast served.
