Friendly village pub facing Hawkwell Village green, this old coaching inn has a modern comfortable interior. Popular quiz night first Monday of the month. Housing surrounding this hostelry has made it the centre of village life for over 200 years. It still retains original sash windows, central open fire and horse brasses. One house beer and two changing guest ales are served. There is a large rear garden with seating and a patio area, plus picnic tables at the front.
