A traditional country pub with beams throughout and a real fire, and a regular winner of local CAMRA awards. It is L-shaped, with the bar at the front offering six changing real ales, at least two from local breweries, plus a range of real ciders. Towards the back is the restaurant, serving home-cooked food using local produce. There is seating outside at the front and in the beer garden to the rear, with an outside bar. Regular music events are popular.
