Ship Isis

Dating back to 1885, the pub was tastefully and extensively renovated when reopened by Jarrow Brewery in 2011, after lying dormant for over two years. A long and narrow wood, chrome and glass bar holds seven handpulls serving five changing ales, plus two ciders.There is a long narrow lounge opposite the main bar. Upstairs is the Vaux Room for additional seating at weekends. Pub photographs abound throughout the pub, both upstairs and downstairs. Various social activities take place throughout the week including Monday quiz night from 8pm, Wednesday Buskers night from 8.30 pm and early evening Sunday Acoustic Night.
