Re-opened in June 2018 after nearly 3 years of closure. Details here may be inaccurate... Picturesque 15th-century thatched free house, largely rebuilt in at the end of the 20C after two extensive fires, in the heart of the Chalke Valley. The huge garden offers outstanding views in summer and low beams and real log fires make the pub cosy in winter. There is en-suite accommodation and a large car park.
