Queen's Head

15C, once part of the Earl of Pembroke's estate. Ex Hall & Woodhouse, now privately owned and a Free House. It is being refurbished gradually and has an increasing local following. The bar is now a cozy welcoming place to sit and socialize. We have a tap room that we are starting to stock with an interesting selection of local real ales and ciders. A top class chef. The restaurant (and a few tables in the bar) offer great British pub classics using top quality locally sourced ingredients with a creative twist. The building has lots of original features and an inglenook fireplace with a large wood burner that is lit all through the winter. The staff are welcoming and helpful.
