The Waterloo Arms is a thatched pub situated at the northern edge of Lyndhurst, close to the source of the Beaulieu River and handy for the police headquarters. The interior is low-beamed, with bare-brick and wood-panelling; furniture includes leather sofas, and décor includes farm implements. To the rear is a fenced and well-maintained garden. Food is served all day on Saturday and Sunday, and the regular menu is supplemented by specials which may from time to time include exotic meats (wildebeest anybody?).
