Royal Oak

The Royal Oak stands in an area called Hill Top, and near the eponymous Farm, House and Wood; to avoid confusion it is known locally as 'The Hilltop'. Internally it is a single space with an open log fire sitting on flagstones. Outside there is a paved and covered smoking area, and a large, grassed area with picnic tables. The pub offers a convenient refreshment stop for those travelling between Beaulieu (Montagu Motor Museum, Abbey and other delights) and Exbury Gardens. There is a biannual beer festival.
