New Wheel Inn

Under new ownership from July 2021. The following is the previous description which will be out of date. Re-opened on 12 March 2018 following the purchase of its lease by a local consortium and an extensive refurbishment which has transformed this traditional two bar pub. The main bar has modern black and white decor, light wood floor and money memorabilia on the walls. The other bar has a more cosy feel with comfy chairs, carpet and low ceiling. Outside is further seating on the narrow patio on side/rear of pub, plus a small cottage garden. Three handpumps on the bar serve real ales, including two always-changing from both local breweries and further afield, plus local real ciders. Food consists of quality traditional pub food with fresh catch of the day and other specials, plus a wide range of snacks.
