Gun Inn

This is a cosy bar with beamed ceiling, family rooms with interesting antiques, and a summer bar in the large garden. Food includes daily specials and fresh crab; malt whiskies number over 200. Bar billiards can be played here. Parking is available in the public facility opposite (charges may apply). A seasonal ferry runs from the nearby quay to Henry VIII's Hurst Castle and to Yarmouth, and the Solent Way passes the front door. Hurst Beach and the marshes offer bracing walks and ornithological interest.
