This post-war pub has a two storey centre, either side of which is a single-storey wing. The façade presents an extraordinary amount of glazing for a pub. There are two bars: a public (with pool table and dartboard) and lounge. Each bar is entered through its own door in one of the wings. There is live music on the last Friday of the month. The pub stands at the edge of the marshes of the Lower Test Nature Reserve, close to the Test Way and a salmon leap.
We hear that there is a new Landlord as of July 2019 and now two cask beers.
