White Lion

This 17th century pub is situated by the village green near the Church. The pub is owned by Admiral Taverns and, after some uncertainty, have been taken over by new licensees in the summer of 2011. On entering the premises, the customer can go left for Drinking or right for Dining. The public bar for drinkers has a homely atmosphere and is a popular meeting point with notice boards for local events and businesses. There is a small restaurant and in warmer weather there is plenty of room outside.
