A large, sprawling, single-storey Ember Inn, modern in style, with plenty of tables and an emphasis on meals if the kitchen hours are anything to go by. Beer drinkers aren't ignored either, with at least 4 rotating ales on handpump at any one time. In keeping with current trends, there are some alcohol-free beers and wines available, too. It is a comfortable pub with a large car park but very close to Swanwick station. Parking is thus only free for customers, who have to tap in their vehicle registration numbers at a terminal by the bar. Other users must buy a ticket from a machine outside.
