Cart & Horses

Opening hours

Sitting opposite the Post Office at the southern end of the village just off the A33, the Cart & Horses claims to date from around 1760. The interior has been stripped back to expose ancient beams and brickwork. The front door opens onto a small lounge by the bar, but the majority of the pub is given over to tables set for diners. The former coach house is now a function room with the feel of a baronial hall. Two large outdoor seating areas: the front is paved whilst the area behind the pub is grassed.
