Rising Sun

Situated just to the east of the main Broadway on the old road to Alresford, this is a good value drinkers' pub in an area where tourist pubs and bars predominate. There are a number of rooms; the one in the rear can be used as a function room but otherwise hosts the darts board and the DJ equipment. The raised area to the left has a pool table. A rear courtyard provides an outdoor area. Previously purely wet-led (no food), the Covid lockdowns saw the introduction of food for takeaway & delivery and this has continued along with service in the pub.
