The Yacht Tavern is tucked away in a mainly-industrial backstreet of Woolston. It has a traditional lounge bar and separate public bar. The lounge bar looked rather comfortable but had nobody in it when visited. The public bar is much bigger and has a pool table, dartboard and jukebox. The pub regularly hosts live music, with several bands from the Southampton pub circuit playing there on a regular basis. There is no garden a but a large enclosed smoking area at the front provides shelter for smokers.
