Previously the Frog & Parrot, this pub became the Scholars Arms in June 2017 after a refurbishment. The cavernous pub is decorated with plenty of dark wood and a mixture of high tables & stools, and traditional tables and dining chairs & armchairs. Pictures of eminent scholars and educational artefacts decorate the walls, along with the obligatory TVs. At the back is a spacious pool table area. At the bar, five handpumps relegated to serving two Greene King beers and cider or fruit products from Lilly's
