Fox & Hounds

Old fashioned, friendly and quaint two-bar pub with large open fire, collection of antique bottles and ancient cash register. The Fox and Hounds became a free house in 2010, and plans are afoot to enlarge the bar. The perfect place for a summer's evening pint; the views across to the Uffington White Horse are stunning. An enjoyable August Bank-Holiday beer festival has become an annual feature, and the local Morris dance here twice a year. Regular BBQs and quiz evenings are appreciated by the locals.
