Woodman

Known as The Woodman since 1840, it is a large, rambling single bar pub full of low beams, nooks, crannies and interesting artifacts. Huge, open log fire in the bar, an adjacent dining area and a converted barn used as a Function Room. The emphasis is on good food and real ales. Casks were kept on stillage behind the bar until recently but now three hand pumps have been installed by new owners who took over the pub in May 2017.
