Carters Rest

This popular real ale pub was refurbished in 2017 to give a it a smart new interior which retains the two room feel although there is only one shared bar. There are 12 handpumps, but currently the beer range is 7 with 8 on the weekend. Beers are mainly sourced from SIBA using breweries within a 50 mile radius, but occasionally beers from further afield are featured. There are Darts on Monday, a Poker night on Tuesday, Crib on Wednesdays, Quiz on Thursdays, and a traditional meat draw on Sunday.
