Attractive stone building on Ermin Street, one of the major roads in Roman Britain. When the pub was built in the 1830s, this would have been quite a rural setting, now very much part of urban Swindon. L-shaped bar/lounge with a low ceiling. Apart from 3B, another seasonal Arkell's beer is served. Occasional events like a summer party.
