This is Arkells brewery tap. A smart and traditional local with a very pleasant garden at the back. It is popular with office workers at lunchtime in need of sustenance to get them through a busy working day! The pub has darts, pool, crib and football teams. Four Arkell's ales are always on hand pump. Meals are served from 12 till 2 and 6 till 9, not Sunday evening. There are Jazz night on the last Thursday of each month.
