Large and comfortable Victorian hotel bar in the heart of Old Town. It was refurbished in 2018 and has a very smart interior. During the evenings and weekends the bar can become very busy and live sports are often shown. There is a separate restaurant and a large function room upstairs. There are five handpumps dedicated to Arkell's beers, with a further three for cider and perry - mostly Weston's and Thatcher’s. There is live music on Sunday evenings. There is a public car park at the rear, but charges apply.
