Flemish Weaver

A 17th century Ale House which gets its name from The Flemish Weavers that fled from religious persecution which in turn enhanced the woollen industry to the town. The cottages are still occupied by local tenants. This charming building is situated in the oldest part of Corsham Town, within a stone's throw from the town's very own Corsham Court in which the original Methuen Family still reside. Extensively refurbished in 2017, the Flemish Weaver is an intriguing pub and full of character that reveals itself slowly through it's many nooks and crannies. The garden in particular is a pleasant and unexpected surprise. There's a focus on quality service and real ale, where all 4 pumps regularly change.
