Southgate Inn

The five minute walk from the town centre is well worth it for the welcome you will get here. A cosy, friendly pub with three separate bar areas and lots of nooks and crannies and a large courtyard area. There are usually several ales, still ciders and perry available at any time straight from the cask including Hop Back and a selection of guest ales. There is live music throughout the weekend, an acoustic jam session every Wednesday as well as a Ukelele group on Friday afternoons. Well behaved dogs are positively encouraged.
