Palmerston

The Lord Palmerston is a locals' pub in the traditional two-bar style, tucked down a quiet street away from the town centre. It has been refurbished (2018) and has a new beer garden, with heated booths. Sunday roasts are served (booking is essential). The current signage reflects a change from the old name 'Lord Palmerston' to the shorter name that has informally been used for many years. Cask ale is no longer served due to lack of demand.
