CAMRA accredited for serving consistently well-kept real ales. A short walk from the Town Hall this former coaching inn became a Wetherspoon in 2009 and has an open plan bar with several different seating areas, including a licensed outside area to the front of the pub. A spiral staircase leads to an upper floor with additional seating. The ten hand pumps dispense up to six guest ales, many from local breweries. Cider is available, including Black Dragon.
