Thatched Tavern

An out of town gastro-pub with a strong local following, having low ceilings and oak beams in abundance, its origins as a Farmhouse and Blacksmith's Forge dating back to the 13th C. An attractive and cosy seating area, having red-brick walls and an ancient fireplace as centre-piece, beckons as you enter the old bar. Drinkers are also welcome in the surrounding area warmed by a log-burning stove.
