This lately refurbished open-plan pub returned to the real ale fold around 2011 and is much the better for it. The furnishings, modern paintings and décor give a comfortable and light feel to the pub. Popular for its meals (11.30-8 Mon-Sat; 12-7 Sun) and very busy when sport is on the screens or entertainment is on.
