Windmill

A large, one might say huge, single room restaurant with bar area. Whilst most definitely a gastro pub it hasn't completely lost the drinking area although it does tend to merge into the dining area. However, the large outside garden and good beer means that the Windmill scores highly if you are looking for somewhere to dine and drink real ale in a lovely country setting. Guest beer from Storm. and other guest beers from another local breweries. Close to bridge 8 on the Middlewood Way and bridge 25 on the Macclesfield canal, north of Bollington. Dogs are welcome in the bar area. Special events such as Wine Tasting & food themed evenings. Live music nights: Acoustic 2nd or 3rd Friday, Band on last Friday. Local archery club, New Century Bowmen, is located next door, with both indoor & outdoor facilities. Winner of the local branch Pub of the Season awards, Summer 2018.
