The restaurant offers a-la-carte meals, house specials and snacks, coffee and breakfast items from 10 daily (no food Sunday evenings). Beer is dispensed under gravity from casks behind the bar. TV restricted to major sports events. Functions catered for in a marquee in the garden. Accommodation has 3-AA stars. During WWII the USAF 398th Bomber Group was based nearby and much memorabilia is displayed here. Hosts regular events including quarterly comedy nights, monthly quizzes, and aviation lectures.
