Although located on the Stevenage Old Town High Street this pub feels like a very friendly local which welcomes everyone. There is a covered patio/smoking area at the rear and a large patio and seating area at the front. The pub runs three darts teams, a football team and cribbage teams during the summer. Every Sunday the pub runs a "Meat Raffle" and a buffet is laid on by the landlord.
