Traditional pub with a modern twist comprising a drinking area at the front but with the main area given over to restaurant food. Food is mainly British in style with monthly changing specials and seasonal a la carte. Sandwiches and light bites are also available. There is a sizeable garden to the rear and the pub is close to the Hertford Heath Nature Reserve.
