Following a major refurbishment the pub has re-opened with its original name, and labelled as a "Traditional pie, ale and cider house". The pub is back. In the main body of the pub the cellar bar has been re-opened (can be privately hired) and the heated courtyard will be a boon in colder moments. There are six handpumps featuring both Greene King and more local beers, often some from Hertfordshire. Ware House Ale is a house beer brewed by Greene King. Traditional cider is available and the food menu is pies, sausage n mash, paninis + pizza being available all day. Very stylish with old pictures/maps of Ware adorn the walls plus look out for the '1 penny wall'.
