British Legion Club has been transformed into a hotel with a very popular modern looking “boutique” bar diner with the emphasis on the latter. Those just wanting to enjoy a drink are welcome to sample ales from the two handpumps or there’s a tempting selection of bottled beers to choose from. The business is proud to source local products where possible. Accommodation includes a choice of very comfortably furnished rooms including a penthouse suite. And the name? Check out the pictures on the wall opposite the bar where the armed forces are commemorated, foremost users of billycans. Note breakfasts are served from 9-11 am.
